    This policy explains what information Aisyst ("we", "us") collects when you visit aisyst.ai or contact us through the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it short and plain.

    Who we are

    Aisyst builds web applications, AI agents and process automation for small and medium-sized businesses. We're based in Bellefontaine, Ohio, USA. You can reach us about anything in this policy at sales@aisyst.ai or +1 (937) 441-9961.

    Information we collect

    When you use our contact form. If you fill in the form on our contact page, we receive your first and last name, business email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your company name, the service you're interested in and your project details.

    To filter out automated spam, the form also includes a hidden field that people don't see, and measures how long the form was open before it was sent. We use these only to decide whether a submission looks automated. We don't store them, and they aren't included in the email we receive.

    When you browse the site. Like most websites, our servers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (see below).

    We don't offer accounts or logins, and we don't collect payment information on this site.

    How we use your information

    • To reply to your enquiry and send you a confirmation email that we received it.
    • To follow up with you about the services you asked about.
    • To keep the site secure and working, including limiting how often the contact form can be submitted from the same IP address.
    • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

    We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your contact details for anything unrelated to your enquiry.

    Service providers we use

    We rely on a small number of companies to run the site. They process information on our behalf or as described in their own privacy policies:

    • Twilio SendGrid delivers the emails generated by the contact form: the notification to our team and the confirmation sent to you.
    • Microsoft Azure hosts the site. Requests to the site, including your IP address, pass through Azure's infrastructure and may appear in standard server logs. Our server also uses your IP address briefly to rate-limit contact form submissions.
    • Google Analytics collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, using cookies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
    • Google Fonts provides the site's fonts. When your browser loads them, your IP address is sent to Google.

    We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

    Cookies and local storage

    Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. We don't set advertising cookies of our own.

    If you switch between light and dark mode, we remember your choice in your browser's local storage (under the key "theme"). It stays on your device and isn't used to track you.

    You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The site will still work, though your theme choice won't be remembered.

    How long we keep information

    Contact form submissions are delivered to our email inbox; we don't keep them in a separate database. We keep them for as long as we need to respond to you, work with you if you become a client, and maintain normal business records. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry, email us and we'll do so unless we need to keep it for a legal reason. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our Google Analytics account.

    Your choices and rights

    • Access, correction or deletion. Email sales@aisyst.ai to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
    • Opt out of Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser.
    • Stop follow-up emails. Reply to any email from us and ask us to stop.

    California residents. Under California law you can ask to know what personal information we've collected about you and ask us to delete it, and we won't treat you differently for making a request. We don't sell personal information, and we haven't enabled Google's advertising features in our site code.

    Visitors in the EU and UK. We process your contact details to take steps you've asked for before a possible contract (answering your enquiry), and rely on our legitimate interests to keep the site secure, prevent spam and understand how the site is used. You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your information, and you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Our providers may process information in the United States.

    We'll respond to requests within the time the law allows. We may need to confirm your identity first.

    Children

    This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

    Security

    The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need them to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

    Changes to this policy

    If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date at the top.
